BIOGRAPHY
Niel Brooks is an award-winning singer-songwriter, guitarist, pianist, producer, and all around studio rat.
He plays guitar and sings with Mourning Dove and Grupo Caudillos.
Highly influenced by the sounds coming out of California in the 1970’s, Niel’s music tends to marry the ethereal aspects of dreamy folk and experimental genres of all kinds.
He has lots of anxiety and a form of PTSD, so he doesn’t travel a lot. Sometimes he does… sometimes it’s a little too much. He internalizes this and feels terrible that it affects his surroundings. But he’s working on it.
